Arriving in Regina was Jim’s opportunity to build something lasting. At the Vagabond restaurant, he quickly earned his place in the kitchen by arriving early every single day, eager to master the art of cooking. That dedication turned a job into a passion.

In 1976, Jim opened the doors to the very first Western Pizza. It was here that he began winning over customers with a recipe that would become the cornerstone of his success: the legendary tomato sauce.
